Deck the Bikes

Residents of Wrightsville and nearby Trail Towns are invited to enter a bicycle of any size – or recognizable parts of a bike – decked out in an original, artsy, weather-resistant, non-electric holiday design for this first-ever Trail Town decoration competition. Bicycle art will be displayed near the 400 block of Hellam Street in Wrightsville. Thousands of holiday inspiration-seekers from the area Trail Towns are expected to visit this unique Wrightsville downtown display to view the decorated bikes and the Borough’s new holiday décor. Time line: Registration: Nov 10 to Dec 10, artwork to be delivered for display Dec 10 – Dec 13, Judging closes Dec 20, Winner announced Dec 21, pick up artwork between Dec 28 – Dec 30. Grand prize is an elegant 4-course dinner served in the winner’s home for up to six adults. Or a $100 gift certificate for a local business of the winner’s choice.
