Halloween Happenings

Create Columbia is organizing Halloween Happenings!
We are encouraging people with a Columbia address to decorate the exterior of their property for the Halloween holiday. The winner will receive a gift certificate to Union Station Grill as well as bragging rights. The contest is open to businesses, residences, and non-profit organizations with a Columbia address, and participation will be limited to 15 addresses. People who purchase tickets for Create Columbia’s Halloween Happenings will drive past the entered properties on Sunday, October 25th to vote for their favorite entry. Voting will take place at the Historic Columbia Market House, 15 S. Third St., Columbia. No fee to enter the contest. Participating properties must be decorated by Saturday, October 24th. Halloween Happenings will take place at the Market House on Sunday, October. 25th from 3 – 8 pm and will feature demonstrations, dungeon tours, and more! Tickets are $10. each for Halloween Happenings at the Market House. There is no fee to enter the decorating contest.
To enter the Halloween Decorating Contest, call the Create Columbia event line at 223-246-7271. If no answer, please leave a message, phone number, and reason for calling. Your call will be returned. The deadline to enter is September 15th!
