Tollbooth Antiques Holding Short Notice Public Auction
COLUMBIA – Tollbooth Antiques is holding a short notice inventory reduction auction on Saturday August 10th at the Tollbooth Warehouse located at 185 N. Front Street in Columbia, PA. The auction will start at 9:00AM and end by 1:00PM Proceeds from this sale will be used for improvements to the Tollbooth Warehouses that were not affected by the fire.
Items being sold will include antiques from the recent Tollbooth fire that just need a good cleaning, furniture from storage, skid lots of new lumber, farm tractors and many other new and used items too numerous to mention ! We are not accepting consignments and donations for this sale. Items being sold may be previewed daily from 12:00 to 5:00 at the Tollbooth Warehouse on Bridge Street.
PA Auction Center will provide auction services and there will be a standard 10% buyers premium on all items purchased. Due to the tremendous outpour of community support to Tollbooth after the devastating fire, PA Auction has agreed to donate their 10% buyers fee to two Columbia non-profit organizations which will be equally split between the Columbia Economic Development Corporation and the Merchants Association of Columbia to assist both in promoting and helping businesses in Columbia.
There is ample parking at the auction site which is a short walk from the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center and the Historic Downtown Columbia shopping district where merchants will be holding special sales all day long.
The Doolittle’s have invited Borough Officials and Local Business Leaders to attend a recognition ceremony of thanks and appreciation at the conclusion of the auction starting at 1:00 PM
